Riverboat Days 2002: 2nd Annual Street Hockey Challenge

We've been holding these photos back for more than a week waiting for the results of this event. We made several attempts, but have now decided it's pointless to wait any longer.

We spent more than an hour in the Canadian Tire parking lot and this looked like a great event. Divided into "little guys" and "big guys" (we don't know the age divisions) everyone was thouroughly enjoying themselves.

Our only comment on this event is the "rink" size, particularly for the "big guys". It made for exceptionally fast action at very close range. An extreme challenge for the photographer. Next year Canadian Tire will hopefully offer a little more space for this event.
