FALL HORSE SHOW RULES
1. Junior classes by age groups are divided as follows :
JUNIOR 13 & OVER: Juniors who have reached their 13th birthday but
not their 18th birthday by January 1st.
JUNIOR 12 & UNDER: Juniors who have not reached their 12th
birthday as of January 1st.
SENIOR: must be over 18 years.
2. ENTRY FEES AND PASS FEES
MUST ACCOMPANY ENTRY FORMS.
3. Stallions MUST NOT be shown by a junior. The judge must
order from the ring any unruly horse or one whose actions threaten to
endanger other exhibitors or their entries.
4. Any abuse to horses on the grounds will lead to automatic
elimination.
5. Management reserves the right to refuse any entry for any reason
the officials may deem sufficient.
6. All entries are shown at owners risk and management will not be
responsible for any loss or damage.
7. Management reserves the right to combine or cancel any class where
there are insufficient entries per class.
8. EXHIBITORS are responsible for having all entries in the
holding ring before each class is called for showing and must enter the ring
promptly when called for. Those not ready when called will not be allowed to
enter the ring to compete.
9. No whips over 1.25 metres long may be used inside or outside the
ring by handlers.
10. Entry fees will be refunded after entry closing date only if a
veterinarian's certificate is presented. It must be reported to the committee
before the class begins to be eligible for a refund of fees.
11. Every horse entered in the show will be assigned a number and it
is mandatory that this number be worn in every class for proper handling of
the show.
12. Ages of horses and riders shall be as of January 1st of this year.
13. A hard hat with secure harness and chin strap is compulsory in all
classes requiring the competitor to jump and must also be worn in warm-up
areas over jumps. Failure to observe this rule could lead to
disqualification.
14. All riders under 18 years of age must wear a hard hat for all
classes, English and Western. In Western classes, head gear will not be
judged.
15. STABLING: There are a limited number of stalls available on
the grounds. Stalls will be allotted to out-of-town exhibitors first. There
will be a $10.00 stall fee for Thursday night and Friday night only. The
Horse Show committee is not responsible for alloting stalls for Saturday
night after the Show.
16. There will be a $10.00 non-refundable jump-fee charged. All jump
fees will be donated to the Pony Club.

BEGINNER: 14, 15, 20, 24, 34, 38
JUNIOR 13 AND OVER: 17, 31, 43, 46
JUNIOR 12 AND UNDER: 18, 32, 43, 46
SENIOR: 19, 33, 43, 46
HORSE: 1-8, 10, 11, 12, 21, 22, 23, 25, 29, 30, 35, 36, 37, 39, 40,
45-48, 52, 53, 54.
