Rules
- Cars entering
the pits must slow down, go to the inside lane and signify to the cars behind
them that they are leaving the track.
- When an
extra lap is signified by the Flagman, drivers are to signify this to the car
behind.
- Any driver
that is obviously blocking another driver may be warned or black-flagged.
- Poor sportsmanship
will not be tolerated. Unsportsmanlike conduct may result in a penalty being levied
based on the severity of the infraction.
- A car
having mechanical trouble must move to the pit area or the infield. Any car that
blows an engine or tire must immediately leave the track surface.
Track
Safety Rules
- All safety
and general rules are mandatory! Failure to comply with these rules may result
in suspension.
- CSA approved
helmets are mandatory! Face shields or visors are mandatory unless an approved
windshield is used. Helmets must be securely fastened.
- Approved
driving suits or approved coveralls are mandatory. Driving shoes and driving gloves
are recommended.
- Drivers
will not, while on the track, have any part of their body (i.e. head, arms etc.)
extended out of the car.
- All cars
having persons working under them must be securely supported by jack stands, etc.,
making it impossible for the car to fall.
- Gasoline
or other flammable liquids must be in sealed, labeled containers.
- ) Gas is
not to be used for cleaning parts or tires.
- No smoking
while on track.
- Drivers
involved in an accident or stopped on or near the track must remain belted in
their car until the race is stopped! No one is to leave the pit area until a race
is stopped and permission has been granted by the Pit Boss.
