Race fans enjoyed another great day of racing during theTerrace Speedway's Riverboat Days weekend races. The number of cars on the track declined throughout the day due to several accidents and mechanical problems.

Daryl Rudolf in Car 3 from Prince George was taken to Mills Memorial Hospital by ambulance for a neck injury during a crash on the back stretch. He was not seriously injured and returned to the track later that day. Daryl would like to thank the Thornhill Firefighters for the care he was given.

The fans voted on Saturday night for Crowd Favourite car in the Hobby and Bomber class. The winner of Hobby favourite was Bob Barnett's Car 10 and the winner of Bomber favourite was a tie between Stan Sweet's Car 515 and Dan Parnell's Car 171.
