you want to build your own car for the demo? It is not that expensive or difficult
to build. Club members can give you advice on how to go about building a demo

See below for complete demo rules. Please telephone if you have any questions regarding these rules. All demo cars must pass safety inspection by the tech crew, or they will not be allowed to participate in the demo races.
1. Any stock front engine full bodied passenger cars allowed. No convertibles, jeeps, hearses or limousines allowed.
2. All glass, side windows, rear windows, headlights and tailights must be removed. All chrome handles, knobs or sharp protrudances must be removed.
3. Tires must be street legal (no studs or cut tires).
4. All cars must have doors securely fastened.
5. All upholstery except seats must be removed.
6. All cars must have approved 3 point seat belts secured to frame.
7. All cars must have hoods securely fastened with no body or fender cut outs.
8. Stock gas tanks must be removed from original location. A limited capacity gas tank must be mounted securely in front of the rear axle, but not in driver compartment, secured by metal straps and covered by fire proof shield. No reserve tanks allowed. All caps, fittings, and lines must be leak proof.
9. Battery may be securely mounted to the floor in the drivers compartment provided it is covered with rubber, to prevent acid spills.
10. Driver’s door must be filled with cement. Must have vertical bar or pipe on drivers door from door to roof for drivers protection.
11. All drivers and passengers must wear approved helmets.
12. Passengers must be seated in front seat with three point seat belt.
13. All drivers must be 16 years of age and hold a valid drivers licence.
14. Radiators must remain in stock location. No reinforcing is allowed in front of radiator.
15. Must have a fire extinguisher secured within easy reach of driver.
16. Must have a roll bar just behind driver or have a single post secured between roof and floor.
17. Must wear long-sleeved coveralls in pits and cars.
18. Entry fee is $20.00 which covers driver and two mechanics, plus a $50.00 car removal deposit. The $50.00 deposit will be returned to you when you take your demo car home with you the same day.
19. All cars will be teched by Terrace Stock Car Association officials. Any car that the officials deem unsafe or not complying with the rules will be cut from the program until the problem is fixed.
20. Cars must be in pits to be teched by 12:00 noon.
The following are grounds for disqualification:
1. Breaching the barrier perimeter.
2. Ignoring Flagman’s directions.
3. Non-compliance with regulations.
4. Use of alcohol.
5. Hitting competitors door.
6. Vehicle on fire.
7. Unsportsman-like conduct.
