It was a little wet Friday afternoon, but not wet enough to dampen the collective spirits of kids and seniors at Terraceview Lodge.

The Kids Afternoon at Terraceview Lodge was an indoor event this year, but fun and games and limitless energy are the same no matter where you set them down.

City freeman Vesta Douglas greeted visitors at the door as she has done in the past, and this year's Riverboat Days Queen, Trudy Best, and her companion, Cliff Best, watched over the proceedings in the lodge with loving care.
